The Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy is collaborating with GESCI to develop an online Post Graduate Degree in smart energy technology. This initiative is part of the Transforming Energy Access – Learning Partnership (TEA-LP) programme that aims at advancing energy access education in Africa. PAUWES, GESCI’s partner, was among 8 universities selected to develop the post-graduate degree in low carbon energy sector. GESCI brings on board its rich expertise in development of online courses after successfully having implemented its African Leadership in ICT (ALICT) Programme in 16 African Countries and the on going African Digital Schools Initiative (ADSI) Programme in Kenya Tanzania and Cote d’Ivoire. It will be responsible for managing the Entrepreneurship module of the course.
