GESCI is set to coordinate the implementation of the Meeting the Data Challenge intervention in collaboration with the African Union Pan-African Institute of Education for Development (AU-IPED) and UNESCO IICBA.

GESCI is supporting the collection, analysis and critical dissemination of education data for the KIX Africa 19 hub project by: 

1.Enhancing the capacity of national education systems to collect, analyze, and use quality data for decision-making through the implementation of the AUC norms and standards.

2. Improving data management frameworks and promoting the adoption of digital tools for real-time data collection and reporting in the KIX Africa 19 countries

3. Facilitating Regional Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing among the KIX Africa 19 countries towards peer learning and exchange of best practices in addressing common education data challenges

4. Providing technical support to the KIX Africa 19 countries for integrating education data into national planning and policy frameworks in line with the implementation of the KIX 2.0 project phase.
