GESCI has joined the Mobile for Education Alliance

The Alliance is committed to reduce barriers to access appropriate, scalable, and low-cost mobile technologies to help improve learning outcomes in formal and non-formal education across all levels.
GESCI has just joined the Mobile for Education Alliance Steering Committee. The Alliance is committed to reduce barriers to access appropriate, scalable, and low-cost mobile technologies to help improve learning outcomes in formal and non-formal education across all levels, especially in low resource contexts and developing countries. It supports the identification and application of mobile technologies that address pressing educational issues including: literacy, appropriate educational content development and dissemination, system strengthening, access to learners with disabilities, the professional development of educators, and workforce development. Members of the Mobile for Education Alliance include: The British Council, Cambridge English Language Association, Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation, GESCI, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), GSMA, IAmLearn, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), he Organization of American States, the Peace Corps, ITU, The MasterCard Foundation, The World Bank, UNICEF, UNESCO, UKaid, USAID, World Vision, the World Wide Web Foundation, Cambridge English Language Association.   Read more about the Mobile for Education Alliance on medalliance.wpengine.com
