GESCI’s African Knowledge Exchange (AKE) - Creative Media Venture is currently running its 3rd edition in Kenya. The 10 month program offered to artists in the Digital Media Industry has attracted this year 20 participants in the inter-related areas of Animation, Mobile Games and Apps and Music Production and Sound Design interested in enhancing their digital skills and developing industry standard multi-media products. This year’s program features:

1. Access to GESCI’s digital media production studio where participants will improve their creative media and digital skills in an inter-related and collaborative environment involving animation, games design and apps and sound & music production;
2. The identification, selection and development of multi-media projects which have promising commercial potential;
3. Consultancy, advice and external mentoring on start-up formation;
4. Living Lab active research throughout the project with the objective of developing a unique training and enterprise model, integrating creative digital media skills development, product identification development to industry standards and the creation of startups.
