African Union hosts event to honour ALICT - Dublin City University graduates

Successful participants in the African Leadership in ICT and knowledge society development (ALICT) / Dublin City University (DCU) graduate program implemented by GESCI in Ethiopia were honoured in Addis Ababa last week. The event, which took place at the African Union headquarters, handed over DCU graduate diplomas to AUC managers and senior Ethiopian officials from several Ethiopian national institutions.
Successful participants in the African Leadership in ICT and knowledge society development (ALICT) / Dublin City University (DCU) graduate program implemented by GESCI in Ethiopia were honoured in Addis Ababa last week.
The event, which took place at the African Union headquarters, handed over DCU graduate diplomas to AUC managers and senior Ethiopian officials from several Ethiopian national institutions. The ceremony was attended by GESCI’s CEO and representatives of the AUC, the Embassy of Finland in Ethiopia and the EU delegation to the African Union. ALICT is a leadership course equipping African leaders with the skills and a commanding understanding of the key elements needed for the planning and development of knowledge societies. The program is an AU flagship initiative supported by the AUC and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and implemented by GESCI. For more information, read the Press Release
