Programme life-cycle

GeSCI country programmes move through several phases in their over the course of 2 - 4 years. This time-scale includes the transition and post-engagement phase which can last for two years and more. Viewing programmes through a life-cycle model provides us with the opportunity to increase programme efficiency. Each phase in the life-cycle of our programmes requires a specific approach whic is deterimined by the needs of our partners. Our approach is then tailored and re-tailored to address those needs as the programme matures. The main life-cycle phases are:

  3. Engagement
  4. Evaluation
  5. Transition
