Comprehensive ICT Bill under review by Rwanda

One of the most important inclusions in the draft bill is for the equitable provision of affordable services over ubiquitous national infrastructure.Most African states have not provided for such equity in infrastructure with broadband remaining unaffordable to most. The bill includes an ICT in Education component as well as a chapter on Information Society and is considered one of the most comprehensive and well structured ICT bills in Africa. Upon formal approval of the bill by parliament we will make it available on our website.
