Activities
Operating as a global programme enables GeSCI to facilitate collective problem solving. It also gives GeSCI other distinct advantages: the ability to leverage global knowledge, solutions and lessons to address local problems and the ability to leverage local knowledge, lessons and solutions to inform and influence global and regional dialogues. There is thus a direct interplay between GeSCI as a global programme and its activities at the regional and country levels while retaining its global reach and identity.
All of GeSCI’s activities are closely inter-linked and feed off and into each other. The building and sharing of knowledge is the cornerstone for the provision of strategic advice and capacity building across our programmes.
GeSCI’s activities can be broadly classified into three categories: country programmes, regional programmes, and global policy dialogue on ICTs for education.
